Dr. Rollston to Speak at Symposium at Brown University

Dr. Christopher Rollston, Toyozo W. Nakarai Professor of Old Testament and Semitic Studies, has been asked by Brown University to deliver a lecture for an upcoming symposium in December.
The symposium, hosted by the Department of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies and the Joukowsky Institute for Archaeology and the Ancient World, is on the relationship between text and archeology.
Dr. Rollston has been asked to speak about forgeries and the archaeological record, the authentication of unprovenanced inscriptions, and the ethical and methodological problems that unprovenanced inscriptions present.
